Recapping the first TEDxYouth@Shadyside.

It was a wonderful day December 5, 2015, at the August Wilson Center. A healthy audience, engaging speakers, and motivated team members and volunteers helped make the event more successful than we could have ever imagined. We learned about revolutions in medicine, in women’s education, in the arts, and most importantly, we had an enormous amount of fun doing so. We thank our sponsors, the staff at the Cultural Trust (looking at you, Joanna), and all of the people that decided empowering a bunch of sleep-deprived teenagers was a good idea. We aren’t done; this isn’t it. Updates coming soon.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated in, and supported our first event! Were there any talks you missed? Any others that you want to hear again and share? You’re in luck.
