For the 2016-2017 year, the TEDxYouth@Shadyside team is excited to be preparing for another event that is sure to be as memorable as the first. Revolutions are continuing to define the Pittsburgh landscape, and we are hoping to bring that to life again on the stage this year. Self-driving cars, medical advancements, and world class research  culminate in producing a near perfect environment to discuss revolutions around us. For the past 9 months, our entire team has worked tirelessly to build this event from an abstract blueprint into what took place this past Saturday. I never thought that I would be part of a group of high schoolers would be able to accomplish what we managed to pull off at the August Wilson Center. Announcing Rick Bullotta

One of our final additions, Rick Bullotta! Rick Bullotta is the co-founder and CTO of ThingWorx, providers of an innovative application software platform for the "internet of things." ThingWorx was acquired by PTC in 2013. Rick was previously a vice president with SAP Research, responsible for research activities in the future manufacturing area. Announcing Harish Saluja

Announcing a man of many talents and much insight to share: Harish Saluja! Saluja is a filmmaker, painter, film festival director, engineer, publisher, writer, radio host and music aficionado. Originally from Punjab, India, he received a degree in engineering from IIT, Kharagpur, but always had a strong love of the visual arts, music and filmmaking. Saluja came to the United States in 1971 and settled in Pittsburgh as an assistant editor in a publishing company.
